  10. Some users experienced problems with absent files when
  11. using the Copy and Undo buffers in version 1.37. These
  12. should now behave themselves and work as expected on all
  13. machines.

  15. General User Notes
  16. ==================

  18. Due to the large variation between Amiga's and the
  19. associated hardware for them, we cannot guarantee
  20. that you will be able to reliably obtain the maximum
  21. available sample speeds. Any problems you experience
  22. will probably be fixed by lowering the sample rate.

  24. Hard Disk User Notes
  25. ====================

  27. Users of non Amiga DMA hard disks may experience problems
  28. with the Direct to hard disk sample options, this is
  29. due to a clash of system interupt routines.
  30.  
  31. Some hard disk drives may not be able to reliably
  32. sample direct to hard disk at the speeds offered in
  33. Megalosound, this is generally due to the hard disk
  34. not being sufficiently fast enough to cope with the
  35. high rate of data transfer. These problems can usually
  36. be eliminated by reducimg the sample rate.

  38. To reliably obtain the higher Stereo direct to hard disk
  39. record speeds on the A1200, you may need a FAST RAM
  40. expansion, without FAST RAM, you can probably expect
  41. speed to be around 20-23K direct to hard disk.
